Enjoying a quiet canal side location in a small street just off the lively Leidseplein, the King Hotel Amsterdam is housed in an attractive canal house and has been entirely renovated in 2007. It is now a modern, family run hotel that has been much improved, with new en-suite facilities and other comforts, like LCD TVs and tea & coffee making facilities (on request at a charge) in the rooms. There are still a few things left to do, such as the installation of the lift and a couple of finishing touches, but overall the hotel now offers a good standard, a central location and importantly great value for money! Hotel awaiting official reclassification.
