The family-run Burak puts you right in the heart of Altinkum. It means you’re just an easy walk from not only the nearest shops, bars and restaurants, but also the wide, sandy beach. If you fancy taking in a bit of history, meanwhile, buses run to the sanctuary of Apollo. For lazier days back at the hotel, there’s a small pool with a section for kids, and a bar where you can get a cold beer or two. Plus, there’s a restaurant that does occasional barbecues and weekly Turkish nights. Inside, bedrooms are a mish-mash of styles and include TVs, balconies and chargeable air-con.
