The 28 original guest rooms are neat and comfortable. We’re talking pastel-coloured walls, terracotta-tiled roofs and wrought-iron balconies. Inside, the classic Mediterranean feel continues – think white walls, simple pine furniture and cool tiled floors. In the apartments neat kitchenettes come as standard, too, and you get your own balcony or terrace.
And the makeover doesn’t stop there – the restaurant has also had a facelift. Cue creamy walls dotted with mismatched art prints and old family photos, chunky wooden chairs and tables dressed in checked cloths. Spotlit ceilings add a contemporary touch. On the food front, homemade Greek favourites like moussaka and kebabs top the menu.
Outside, manicured gardens cocoon the property. At the heart of all the greenery, you’ll find the swimming pool. It’s a classic rectangular shape hemmed by a wide sun terrace decked with smart blue loungers. Beyond the terrace, well-kept lawns provide additional places to take it easy. There’s a poolside snack bar too.
Lastly, there’s the matter of location. This place is set on the edge of Roda in a rural spot that's just a short walk to the town centre. There are a handful of tavernas and bars on the doorstep, but for anything more lively, you’ll need to head into the town centre. It’s around a ten-minute walk to the heart of Roda, and about the same distance to the beach. Corfu Town, meanwhile, is about an hour’s drive along the coast.
