A spacious complex, right on the beach and undergoing a huge refurbishment in all of the public areas throughout the winter, including the addition of another pool, the 2009 Aphrodite Beach Club is looking forward to greeting and delighting customers old and new. With a kids club, 2 pools and it’s enviable beach front position, this family owned hotel has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Although officially a 4 star hotel, after re-furbishing, we feel that the hotel will deserve our 5 sun rating due to the large public areas and extra added facilities.

Location

The Hotel is located right on a sandy beach and within walking distance of the centre of the village where there are lots of bars, restaurants and shops to enjoy. The hotel is located approx 18km from Heraklion and only 7km from Hersonissos, a town known for its nightlife

Activities

There are two outdoor swimming pools surrounded by sun terraces with sun loungers and parasols, one pool houses all of the daily activites and the second pool is for quieter relaxation, there is an indoor pool too. Other leisure facilities at the Hotel include a fitness studio, saunas, a games room with pool and table tennis tables, mini golf, tennis courts, a mini football field, beach volleyball court. The beach offers various watersport activities including canoeing.
For kids there’s a great time waiting for them- they can spend their time in the playground, or in the supervised mini club and enjoy the kids pool too.

Features

The complex consists of four buildings which are Aphrodite, Apolon, Ermis and Athina, spread in a vast garden. All rooms have a bathroom, balcony, direct dial telephone, radio, hairdryer and air-conditioning, with most enjoying a direct sea view, whilst the others overlook the gardens or the pools. Guests may be allocated rooms in any of the four buildings. The main building houses the reception, the main bar, comfortable sitting areas with a fire place and satellite TV, the dining room, a conference hall, two pool bars and there is a super market on site. Baby cots, baths, pushchairs and sterilizers are all available from the hotel too.
