The rooms are simple yet clean, most of them have views of the pool and sea, though these can not be guaranteed. Beds are twin or double although some double beds may be pushed together to create double beds. Each room has a privatebalcony. Air conditioning is charged locally c. 6€ per day.

The hotel is situated on the Stalis / Malia resort road. From the airport you should follow signs for the resort of Aghios Nikolaos, the resort of Stalis is just 35km from Heraklion Airport, once you see the sign for Stalis on route, take the first available right turn down to the centre of the resort at the junction turn left and drive slowly until you see the hotel on the right side.

Boardering both Malia and Stalis, the Neon was one of Malia's first hotels and offers good value for money right in the heart of the resort(s). On your doorstep you have a wealth of shops, restaurants and bars and to the rear the lovely large pool area leads right onto the sandy beach so you have everything you could want at your finger tips. The hotel is family run and is kept clean and well maintained. A large taverna and snack bar to the rear with a recently renovated lobby bar to the front make this a great option. It also has a number of repeat bookings based on the fact that people know what they get and they get what they like at this great little 2 star option.
