Malia is divided into 2 parts – a relaxed old town with traditional houses and tavernas and the newer area near the beach, which is livelier, with cafes, bars, discos and shops. There is a selection of water sports available on the beach.

The All Inclusive programme includes breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30am, lunch from 12.30pm to 2pm and dinner between 7pm and 9pm, all served buffet style in the restaurant. Red and white wine, draught beer and non alcohol drinks from the dispenser (lemon, orange, cola, soda and table water) are available with lunch and dinner. Between 10am and 11pm red and white wine, draught beer, local spirits (ouzo, raki and brandy) and non alcoholic drinks from the dispenser are available at the pool bar. From 3pm to 5pm coffee, tea and cookies are also available at the pool bar. All the others services are chargeable.
