The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.

The hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the shore in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the coastline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.

Inside, the hotel is really stylish with coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.

Twin pools dominate the hotel grounds, bordered by leafy palms and loungers. In one of the pools, you can swim right up to the bar. For food, choose from a buffet place or a stylish fine dining à la carte restaurant. There are two bars, too – one’s adults-only, and the other has an outdoor terrace for evening entertainment.

POOL AREA

You’ll find two pools in the middle of the grounds. One’s for adults only, and the other comes with a swim-up bar. They’re both just footsteps from the beach.

Little ones get their own splash pool, complete with a mushroom fountain in the centre. There’s an indoor heated pool, too.

Pool and beach towels are available for a deposit.

FOOD & DRINK

Alongside international dishes, the buffet restaurant has a different theme each night, showcasing the likes of Cypriot and international cuisines. TripAdvisor reviewers rave about the huge dessert selection, as well.

If it’s a special occasion, head to the à la carte restaurant*. It’s an all-red venue, with faux croc-leather chairs, a Jacquard floral feature wall, and a five-course fine dining menu of European cuisine.

Thalassa buffet restaurant - Opening Times: [07.00-10.00, 12.30-15.00, 18.30-21.30] Start your day with a buffet breakfast at Thalassa, and if you are going on an excursion, you can request to have an early breakfast. Lunch is an extensive buffet of snacks, salads, home-made burgers, pizzas and sandwiches, with a special menu for children. Come evening, there's another delicious buffet spread, with themed nights and an extensive wine menu for you to choose from. To top off the dishes on offer, you'll be able to enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea from the terrace. Gentlemen must wear long trousers in the restaurant for evening meals.
