This place is known for its laidback, friendly atmosphere – and with just 64 apartments available, it’s definitely got an intimate vibe. In fact, it’s won four Thomson Gold Awards for excellence over the years, and that’s largely down to the staff’s nothing’s-too-much-trouble approach. What’s more, it deserves an award for its location, too. This little village of apartments is tucked between the old and new parts of Icmeler, so there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, as well as some really postcard-worthy scenery. The beach isn’t far either - it’s around a ten-minute walk to Icmeler’s sandy shoreline. Marmaris, meanwhile, is just eight kilometres along the coast.

As for the apartments themselves, they’re the colour of buttermilk. Head inside and a fresh set-up greets you. Think cool white walls, tiled floors and traditional Turkish rugs. Private balconies or terraces come as standard, too. Factor in well-equipped kitchens – complete with the all-important kettles, toasters and microwaves – plus in-room extras like air-conditioning - and the apartments make comfortable bases.

Outside, a first-class pool scene steals the show. There are two pools framed by a roomy sun terrace. Plus there’s a separate shallow pool for little ones and a poolside bar.

Last but not least, there’s the dining scene to consider. Although there’s always the option of making your own meals, this place has got a great restaurant, too. With an al fresco poolside terrace and a menu of Turkish favourites and international meals, it’s enough to give the local eateries a run their money.
