The Grand Hotel Faros is a friendly well run hotel, located just on the outskirts of Marmaris in Armutalan district, a recently developed area of the resort, approximately 2.5 km to the resort centre and the beach where the hotel provides sun loungers and its own snack bar. The Hotel operates a shuttle bus service to town at scheduled times. Occasional Turkish evenings are organised by the hotel.
The rooms are spacious and modern with laminate flooring, individually controlled air-conditioning and tv, a balcony overlooking the swimming pool or the surrounding mountains.
