Just a mere 200 m from the Hotel, clients may spend an outstanding day at the Vale do Lobo Beach, in an area exclusively reserved for clients with free sunbeds, sunshades and towels. Children (from 6 months to 12 years of age) are sure to have a memorable time at the fully supervised and specialized facility, the Penguin Village that offers weekly programmes with games, sport coaching and lessons and learning experiences tailored to different age groups. The Penguin Village is a seasonal facility, opened from the 15th March until the 31st October and Christmas periods. Penguin Village facilities must be confirmed with a room reservation. Dona Filipa & San Lorenzo Golf Resort residents benefit from a discount in the Royal Spa Vale do Lobo, which is located in Parque do Golfe, in the heart of the luxury resort of Vale do Lobo. This brand new Spa, just 5 minutes walk from the Hotel, offers a wealth of natural and alternative health treatments such as body therapies, hydro therapies, aromatherapy, and reflexology are some of the numerous treatments at clients’ disposal. Clients must present the hotel card upon arrival at the spa. Bookings in advance are very much recommended. Please note that this is a non smoking hotel.

Food & Beverage

Restaurants and bars available at the hotel: Restaurant Primavera, Restaurant Grill D. Duarte, Club San Lorenzo and Bar San Lorenzo. The two restaurants serve regional and international specialities and the two bars offer a variety of refreshments, snack and cocktails. Clients wishing to take HB in A La Carte restaurant will be given a specified credit amount per adult against an A La Carte meal, any amount over the credit is charged directly to client. Please note, the dress code in Grill restaurant is smart casual.

The hotel and golf club are unique when it comes to outstanding views, a calm and tranquil setting, and shows nature at its best. The golf club is a member of the Audubon Co-operative Sanctuary System. In the hotel you can also find a Golf shop. (Please note, some activities are NOT complimentary).
