The comfortable and friendly Vasco da Gama, named after the great Portuguese explorer, is situated in an ideal position on the long sandy beach of Monte Gordo. As the area is very flat, it makes a great base from which to get out and about and explore. This hotel is particulary suited for the more mature holiday maker.

In the centre of town; the promenade and resort are directly accessible from the hotel. 50m to the beach and nearest shops, bars and restaurants. Buses stop opposite the hotel for the Vila Reef, only 3km away, from there you can take the ferry across the river to Spain

Rooms have twin beds plus extra folding bed; air conditioning, satellite TV, full bathroom and balcony.

Seaview rooms, family rooms (duplex-style) with one double room, one twin room and two sofa beds for children (May-Oct only) and single rooms with balcony (Nov-Apr only) are available. Ground floor rooms without a balcony and with limited views are available.
