From 1st December 2007, this is a non-smoking property. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in public buildings, bars and restaurants. The hotel is located 35 km from FAO airport and 242 km SVL airport. Also it should be noted that the summer period is from April to October.

Facilities & Services

The hotel has a wide range of services at the guests disposal whether it is a meeting, a banquet, an exhibition or a wedding being . The available rooms and all the respective equipment necessary, serve to perfection those who want to celebrate an event in a refined environment, supported by an excellent logistical team. The hotel also offers a 24 hour reception desk, car rental, Internet desk, convenience store, bottle shop, baby sitting (on request) service, launderette (coin operated), hairdresser and medical services.

Chargeable Extras

Crazy golf and mini club are available at a charge. AI guests have a discount of 50% on premium brands and cocktails until 23:00.

Food & Beverage

Within the complex guests will find four restaurants. The main restaurant Eva where meals are served either in buffet or à la Carte style. The MGE restaurant which is used for special occasions and can seat up to 450 persons. During the summer it functions as restaurant for dinners in buffet service. The self-service restaurant Aquario is located by the indoor pool and overlooking the gardens, where during the summer breakfasts and lunches are served in buffet style and Patio “Caribe”, the snack bar located by the outdoor pool area, and is only open during the summer season. There is also a main bar of the Hotel offering live music every night, the pool bar and the Glam Club which is open daily from 7pm until late during the summer season only.

Accommodation

The complex offers 138 studio apartments and 217 one bedroom apartments all of which are fully equipped with a complete kitchenette, bathroom, Satellite TV and music, telephone, air conditioning, safe and balcony. All studios are land facing and have no pool view.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant; in summer breakfast & lunch are served at the self service restaurant, while lunch during winter is table service. During meals house wine (red & white), local beer, soft drinks, water, tea and coffee are offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests in the summer is the Portuguese A la Carte corner in the main restaurant with limited selection menu (with prior reservation). Snacks such as baguettes, submarines, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza, fries and salads are available during summer only at the pool snack bar between 10:00 & 18:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like soft drinks, juices, mineral water, house wine, sangria, port wine, draught beer (lager), Martini, whiskey, gin, rum, tequila, brandy, liqueurs, coffee, decaf, tea, herb tea and hot chocolate are served at the main bar (10:00-23:00), the entertainment lounge (19:00-23:00) and the pool bar (11:00-19:00, limited selection) - all open/available according to season.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include swimming pool, handball, basketball, football, tennis, daytime activities by the pool, sporting events as well as resident pianist (A la Carte restaurant), musician daily in the bar, shows and entertainment in the entertainment lounge. Guests should keep in mind that not all facilities are all year round; the majority depend on the season.

Sports & Leisure

Within the hotel there is an outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor swimming pool (winter season only) and a heated indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi in the Health Club. There is a multi-use court for either 5-a-side football, basketball or handball, an 18 hole mini golf course, a tennis court and equipment is available for hire. The health club “Sermais” is open every day and is equipped with a heated indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, saunas, Turkish bath, Scottish Shower, Jacuzzi, body treatment programs, fitness, swimming lessons and massage (local charges apply to enter). The hotel has one large games room with snooker and billiards tables, table tennis and table football, video games and flipper games.
