There is one outdoor swimming pool (which is heat ed in winter) and a children’s pool, recliners, umbrellas. The white sand beach is suitable for children. Water sports are available. The hotel offers entertainment with sports and game activities during the day and in the evening various shows, live music and such. Sport activities in the hotel and on the beach include tennis and table tennis lessons, table tennis, billiards, fitness room, volleyball, miniature golf, sauna, massage, scuba diving lessons and wind surfing. Entertainment for children with miniclub for children ages 4-12 and a children’s playground.

Informal ambience in the accommodation, relaxing entertainment and privileged location at Costa Calma, directly on the long white sand beach and only a few metres from the shopping centre with various stores, restaurants, bars, banks, car rentals, drug stores etc. These are some of the features that make Taro Beach Hotel an ideal place to spend a pleasant vacation. It was built in 1986 and completely renovated in 2005.

Accommodation

The hotel has 293 units in total. These feature living space, telephone, satellite TV, fan, refrigerator, hairdryer, safe (for rent) and balcony or patio with ocean or garden view. The rooms are cleaned daily; change of sheets and towels occurs twice and three times per week respectively.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:00) and dinner (18:00-21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, wine and beer are offered. Snack’s buffet is available at 14:30 at the snack bar as well as tea & coffee time with biscuits & cakes between 15:30 & 16:30. Customers can have ice cream at the main restaurant during lunch & dinner and at the snack bar during snack times. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like hot drinks, soft drinks, wine, beer, spirits and some cocktails are served at the pool bar (11:00-18:00), the snack bar (11:00-18:00, cocktails excluded) and the salon bar (18:00-23:00).

Sport facilities at the hotel include darts & football (once per week), gym (for people over 14), keep-fit, petanca / French bowls (once weekly), sauna (six times a week), sun beds by the pool, table tennis, daytime tennis, volleyball & water polo (2-3 x weekly), whirlpool, daytime entertainment from 10:00-13:00 & 15:00-17:00, evening entertainment between 19:30 & 23:00 (cabaret shows, shows, mini-disco) and games for kids aged 4-12yrs old (10:30-12:30 & 15:00-17:00).
