Santa Mónica Apartments is located right on the beachfront and is the only accommodation in Gran Canaria with direct access to Las Dunas de Maspalomas National Park. The complex is just a few minutes' walk from the Cita Shopping Centre in Playa del Inglés town. Most of the guest rooms have spectacular views over the Maspalomas Dunes and the complex has become an enjoyable, family-oriented holiday destination.

The resort offers a Bar located next to the pool with a giant screen TV,  Massage Centre, sport and recreational activities including a tennis court, table tennis, giant chess and pool tables,  two outdoor swimming pools (heated in winter),  a 500 m2 adults' pool and a 20 m2 children's pool,  gardens that house a children's playground with wooden benches, swings and a playhouse on a surface of sand, and a main Restaurant with a show cooking grill. Inside the complex there are lounges with games tables and internet connection..

The resort has 188 apartments with views of the Maspalomas Dunes or the tropical garden and all feature a separate bedroom, full bathroom (completely refurbished in 2004), a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge with sofa bed. The apartments also have piped music, direct dialing telephone line through the hotel switchboard, satellite TV with 23 international channels, and a safe box (pay TV and hire safe)..
