Check out is at 12:00 noon, however if guests wish to have late check out, lunch or dinner with drinks, a supplement will be charged (please contact the reception team for details about the charges).

Food & Beverage

There are three restaurants with a maximum occupancy of 350 seats. The AM/PM main resort restaurant, the Bel Paese Italian regional restaurant, the beach & bar restaurant D Lounge and the pool bar Armata di Mare.

Accommodation

Domina Makadi Bay consist of spacious Ocean Rooms, De-Luxe Rooms ( including large balcony/terrace) and De Luxe Family Rooms (Ocean Rooms with family living space). All rooms enjoy either Red Sea or garden view and are equipped with telephone, Cable / Satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning, in-room safe box, wireless connection, balcony / terrace, voltage (volts): 220, shower and hair dryer. There are also non smoking rooms.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of American breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00, light meals & snacks) and dinner (19:00-22:00, plus theme nights), all buffet style with international cuisine, served in the main restaurant Piazza Grande. Late riser bakery breakfast takes place from 10:30-12:30 at the La Rotonda pool bar. Also at the disposal of the AI guests for dinner from 19:00-22:00 is the Marco Polo Italian restaurant (prior reservation, applies a small fee). A selection of snacks and lunch are available between 13:00 & 15:00 at the Bella Vista beach restaurant as well as light snacks from 15:00-17:00 at the La Rotonda pool bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like cola, fanta, sprite, tonic, soda, juices, black tea, coffee, beer, wine (white, rose, red), vodka, rum, whiskey, gin, brandy and tequila (all by the glass) are served from 10:00-24:00 at the D bar (open 24hrs), the Bella Vista (12:00-18:00), the D’Gazebo beach bar (10:00-18:00 or 17:00 in winter), the La Rotonda pool bar (10:00-24:00) and the Layalina Cafe Bedouin corner (18:00-24:00).

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include beach volley, beach handball, beach football, water polo, water aerobics, boccia, chess, darts, fitness equipment and jogging track. There is also a compete team of international animators for the guest’s entertainment as well as a full entertainment & animation programme for toddles, children, teenagers, as well as for couples & families.

Domina Makadi Bay Resort is located some 40 km from the centre of Hurghada.

Entry Requirements

On entry into Egypt, guests must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry; the fee is £14 (subject to change).

The Resort offers the following facilities: 24 - hour front desk, laundry service, limousine service, airline desk, tour desk (available from the Medhotels rep), medical service, hairdresser, gift shop and a children play area. Restaurants, shopping centre, and clinic are also available at the Resort.

Chargeable Extras

Imported drinks, fresh pressed juices, flavoured tea, cappuccino, espresso, Turkish coffee, drinks at the D bar (from 24:00-10:00), the D lounge (23:30-02:30), snacks & more at the Bella Vista beach restaurant from 15:00-17:00, ice cream, sea food set menu dinner (twice weekly), mini bar items, snooker, ping pong, table football and shisha are available at a charge.

Also, beach volley & 5-a-side football pitch, billiard and games room, located in the main building, health club/gymnasium, night lounge & discotheque, Domina Club rooms and an elegant resort shopping arcade. The hotel also offers to its guests a free of charge entrance at the disco. The guests should note however, that the drinks are charged locally.
