The Rubimar Aparthotel opened in December of 2004. It is only 1km away from the town centre of Playa Blanca, in the south west corner of Lanzarote. It has a hexagonal shape and it is situated around the swimming pool amongst the fantastic garden area. The hotel also offers a conference room.

Food & Beverage

There is a buffet restaurant available for both breakfast and dinner. At the pool bar customers can find snacks, fast food list and drinks. There is also a night pub for the enjoyment of the guests.

Accommodation

The Rubimar has 96 units distributed in one, two and three bedroom apartments. All standard rooms have the number of bedrooms indicated and are comfortably furnished in a modern style offering a bathroom with hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen, living room with TV, background music, air conditioning and a safety deposit box. Promo rooms are ideal for those travelling on a budget - these are large ground floor rooms furnished in the same style as the standard apartments but not having balcony / terrace or air conditioning. It should be noted that the promo rooms do not have any window in the bed and bathroom area.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. A minimum of three snacks such as French fries, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, etc are available between 10:30 & 13:00 at the pool bar. Tea & coffee time with pasta, cakes, biscuits and sandwiches is from 15:00-16:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like rum, whisky, sangria, vodka, brandy, wine, gin, liqueurs, martini, etc are served at the pool bar (10:30-18:30 & 21:30-23:00) and the restaurant.

The Rubimar is only 3km from the airport, 3km from Playa Blanca harbour (ferry to Fuerteventura), 3km from Papagayo beaches, 20km from Timanfaya National Park and 40km from Arrecife, capital of Lanzarote.

Sports & Leisure

There is an outdoors swimming pool & Jacuzzi and a separate children’s swimming pool; additionally, an indoor heated swimming pool is operational from 10:00 to 18:00 during the winter season till April. Also free use of sunbeds and umbrellas, free use of gym and sauna, multi function court, children’s playground and mini club. Beach and swimming pool towels are available (with deposit).
