Located next to one of the extensive sandy beaches at C`an Picafort in the centre of Alcudia Bay, many return to Platja Daurada to relax by the superb pool, enjoy the complex`s entertainment, swim in the sea and explore, often by bike, the local area and the diverse island. On most days of the week during the summer months, the entertainment team will organise activities such as teamed sports events, discos, swimming games or evening dancing.

Swimming Pools

The superb outside swimming pool has sun beds and umbrellas, and there is a smaller pool for children. The heated indoor swimming pool is open all season.

Location And Resort

As with most of the towns and villages on the island, C`an Picafort holds a small twice-weekly market where visitors may purchase a selection of holiday memorabilia. Once a small fishing village, but now a larger resort centred around the beach, C`an Picafort is not quite as busy as its neighbouring Alcudia, where a more extensive choice of shops, water sports, boat trips and night life is available. The small working harbour of C`an Picafort is lined with cafes and bars, great for watching the day go by, but travel to the outskirts of the resort and experience contrasting surroundings with open landscapes and picturesque sand dunes.
