The hotel has been completely refurbished and provides one of the first Flinstone's themed hotels in Europe. The hotel shop (Bazaar Yabadabbado), pool area and restaurant are all included in the Flinstone theme. There are life size models of Fred, Wilma, Betty, Barney Rubble, Pebbles, Baby Bam-Bam and the family pet Dinosaur Dino around the hotel. Plus Fred Flinstone himself makes a daily appearance providing great photo opportunities for everyone.

It is situated in the heart of Palma Nova close to all the resort's amenities, nightlife, shops, fantastic beachfront promenade together with it's superb golden sandy beaches. It is 24 kms from the airport, 14 kms from Palma de Majorca, 34 kms from the Cartuja in Valldemosa, 10 mins from Santa Ponsa Golf Club.

The Sol Tordos offers an extensive daytime entertainment programme including aerobics, water polo,
volleyball, table tennis, shooting range and archery. Evening entertainment includes dancing, cabaret and other professional shows. There is a wide range of kids clubs for infants all the way through to early teenagers allowing the remainder of the family quality time to relax and enjoy the all facilities. Professional entertainment team perform shows on a nightly basis.
