Facilities & Services

This hotel provides its guests with parking areas of 70 underground parking spaces (small charge) and 34 exterior car parks. The aparthotel grants guests access to a meeting room able to accommodate 35 to 200 people. Car hire, laundry services, 24h medical service (via reception) and access to internet (free wi-fi at reception area) are also provided. For help or information ask the reception available 24 hours a day. Voltage is set at 220 V. From 21/06/2008 to 13/09/2008, there is a shuttle bus service in operation to Heavens Beach club, Sladillo beach.

Food & Beverage

The Caledonia Golf has two restaurants. The Caledonia restaurant is buffet style and the pool bar/restaurant open from 10:30-19:00 during the summer serving a snack menu from 12:30-16:00hrs and A la Carte menu from 20:00-23:00. Tthe Caledonian also offers lunch menu. All restaurants have wide terraces. The reception lobby bar is open from 10:00-18:00 serving drinks which can also be taking out onto the terrace to lounge in the sun whilst taking the drink, and the music bar which is a large modern designed bar and over 800m2, is open from 18:00-24:00 during low season and 18:00-02:00 in high season. The weekends it offers live music and entertainment.

Accommodation

This hotel has a total of 301 rooms all of which are very modern and spacious in design and five lifts. 22 apartments are two bedroom, two bathroom (maximum five adults + one child) 270 one bedroom apartments (maximum three adults + one child) and nine studios (maximum two adults). The apartments have kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and hob. All rooms have terrace or balcony, individual air conditioning and heating, satellite TV, sofa bed, table and chairs, safe deposit box (on request & at local charge), direct dial telephone and bathroom with hair dryer.

Spa Facilities

Sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, (can only be used by people over 18 years), ice cabin, Scottish shower and contrast showers. The Spa is provided at an additional charge and requires booking (one visit per apartment per free reservation). Guests should note that on 01/06/08 has to be paid directly to the hotel. The minors of 18 years old have to be accompanied by an adult, children under 3 years are not allowed to use the pool. Towels of the SPA can be used providing a deposit is paid at the hotel reception (cash or credit card). The maximum capacity of the Thermal Circuit is for 30 persons. The duration of the Circuit is 50 minutes. Guests must be punctual entering and leaving the SPA. Also the users of the SPA will maintain during the whole visit a correct behaviour and respect during the entrance, use and exit of the installation and will be responsible for all damage that may be caused. Guests using the spa must note, it is important for guests to observe the rules and regulations of the spa.

Gibraltar is 50km away. Puerto Banús is 7 Km from the hotel, the centre of Marbella is 12km away, while Estepona’s is only 9km away. Nearest beach is 1.2 km from the hotel.

Sports & Leisure

The hotel provides a gym Monday to Saturday from 10:00-14:00 & 16:00-20:00 and Sunday from 10:00-14:00, children time (Monday to Saturday 13:00-14:00 & 16:00-17:00 and Sunday 10:00-11:00 - at a charge), whereas massage and beauty treatments are to be paid separately. The spa / gymnasium is fully equipped with individual reception, indoor dynamic swimming pool with pressure jets and cascades. The outdoor swimming pool is large (560sq.m) and set in lovely gardens with sun beds free of charge. The tennis club Bel Air is at a five minute walking distance from the hotel (extra charge applies). Guests can, at an additional cost, inquire about reservations and discounts in all of the golf courses at the golf desk. The animation team organizes different activities during daytime and different shows in the evening, including a flamenco show. The mini club is open all year round for children from 4 to 12 years with entertainment programmes and animation. The mini club has a children’s playground, children’s pool and indoor games room (10:00-13:00 & 15:00-17:00). There is also animation in high season and weekends in low season.

This aparthotel was recently opened in 2004. It is situated in the New Golden Mile, surrounded by magnificent golf courses, the nearest being 1km away. Only a ten minute drive from one of the best beaches of Estepona and with wonderful views over the Mediterranean ocean, Gibraltar and the African coast.
