Komandoo Island Resort is a beautiful island just 100 meters wide and 500 meters long. Surrounded by a stunning turquoise lagoon, Komandoo Island Resort is an idyllic retreat home to a magnificent reef and situated in a channel opening making this superb for snorkeling and diving. Guests can take advantage of the many trips and tours on offer from island hopping to night fishing or for the romantics the opportunity to dine by candle light on the beach, by themselves.

Male International Airport is 130 km away, 40 minutes by seaplane.

Important Information: sea plane transfers only depart in daylight hours between 0700 - 1600 hours. There are some late international arrival flights and consequently guests can miss their onward connection by seaplane to the island. This especially affects flight EK654 that is due to arrive Male at 15:25. It takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to clear customs and immigration at Male airport. The last seaplane usually departs from Male between 16:00 - 16:30 hours. When booking international flights, please take this into consideration. Failure to do so may result in having to overnight in Male at additional cost. Transfer to the islands will be arranged for the following day on the earliest possible flight. Unused transfer will be treated as a no-show and one-way seaplane costs will be charged. Guests will not be refunded for the unused night on the island.

Room Facilities

All 65 romantic villas are exquisitely furnished and include a wooden deck, deluxe bathroom with walk in shower and hairdryer,  a spacious bedroom and sitting area. Each feature a four poster king size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini fridge, wine cooler, safe, telephone, sun beds, beach towels, iPod docking station, private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities. With just 65 villas, Komandoo offers a great deal of privacy and features 15 Jacuzzi Water Villas (with flat screen TV's), 30 Jacuzzi Beach Villas and 20 Beach Villas (no Jacuzzis). All Jacuzzis are large two person tubs. The Jacuzzi Water Villas do not have gardens. Please note the Jacuzzi Beach Villas are located on the beach, there is 1 Jacuzzi Beach Villa which has its front stilts in the water which we can requested and is subject to availability..
