The Panorama Hotel overlooks Mellieha Bay at the northern end of the island and has pleasant views as the name suggests. The resort is quiet and reletively under-developed. There are a number of shops, bars and restaurants spread out along the bay. Mellieha Bay has one of Malta`s few sandy beaches which is also the longest, and is kept in very good condition.

Location And Resort

The hotel is 300 metres from the centre of town and less than a mile from the beach. There are regular buses to the other towns and villages and also the beach. The hotel is not suitable for those with walking difficulties due to its location. Mellieha is an attractive hilltop village with a central street winding downhill and the bay has shallow water making it ideal for familiy holidays in Malta with children.
