S' Algar is situated on the south east coast a few km from Mahon. It consists of two large hotels, quite a few apartment complexes and privately owned villas. The closest beach is at Cala Alcaufar, a steady fifteen minute walk away. S' Algar has many choices of bars and restaurants where you can have a wonderful time. For people who like to walk, a number of good promenades either along the coast or through the countryside can be found.
