Food & Beverage

The hotel serves a rich Anglo-Saxon breakfast buffet every morning and a theme night dinner buffet in the evening. A la carte menu is also available. Once a week the hotel gives you the opportunity to choose among a variety of traditional dishes and taste the delicious Cypriot cooking, but you can also have Italian cuisine; the hotel organises BBQ’s by the pool the warm summer evenings and also has a lounge cocktail bar, a pool bar and a cafeteria. Additionally, there is a cocktail lounge bar, and a pool bar/restaurant. Please note that in the main restaurant there is a dress code: smart casual dress is required for dinner.

Accommodation

The hotel has 199 twin rooms decorated with taste, comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities to make you feel like home. All rooms are provided with en-suite bathroom, shower, private furnished balcony, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning/heating, hair dryer and mini-fridge. Most of the rooms have are side sea & sea view.

The Asterias Beach Hotel is in a lovely secluded position, right on the beautiful golden white sandy beach of Makronisos with crystal clear waters. The Cypriot countryside stretches out making this a relaxing, peaceful area. The attractive gardens give the hotel a very pleasant atmosphere conducive to a relaxing stay and most enjoyable for families and couples. The Asterias Beach Hotel is highly recommended for its superb service and warm friendly atmosphere. The hotel is ideal also for sport lovers. The lively centre of Agia Napa is 5Km away. Shops, bars, restaurants, a bank are 5mins away from the hotel.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-14:30) and theme dinner (19:00-21:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals house wine, bottled water, draught beer, juices and soft drinks are offered. Snacks such as hot dogs, sandwiches, pizza, burgers, pasta, French fries, savouries, etc are available from 10:00-12:30 & 15:00-18:30 at the pool bar as well as cold sandwiches between 22:00 & 23:00 at the main bar. Tea time with cakes & biscuits is daily from 16:30-17:30. Kids can have local ice cream from 11:00-12:00 & 16:00-17:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like house wine, brandy, soft drinks, still table water, fruit juices, draught beer, spirits, cocktails, coffee and tea are served from 10:00-24:00 at the pool bar and the main bar.

Sport facilities at the hotel include table tennis, beach volleyball, tennis, mini-soccer, archery, fully equipped gym, swimming pools (indoor & outdoor), mini-club (supervised from Apr-Oct), entertainment & animation programmes supervised by a team of professional animators for both adults & children, plus some acts & shows from outside sources.

Sports & Leisure

In the hotel you can find an outdoor fresh water swimming pool, separate children’s pool, electronic games, floodlit tennis court, beach volley ball, floodlit 5 – a - side football ground, table tennis, billiard and bicycles for hire. The crystal clear water and the long sweep of the sandy beach make it ideal for the water sports that are available on the beach: water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, pedalos, speed boats, and canoes. This facility is under separate management. The hotel also has a new Health Club with fully equipped fitness room, indoor half Olympic size pool (heated from end of October to beginning of May, subject to weather conditions 01/10 to 30/04), a massage room, a Jacuzzi, steam bath, sauna and the Asterino mini club and a children’s play ground. For your entertainment the hotel organises weekly disco night, barbecue evenings with folk dancing (summer), has a weekly animation program and you can enjoy live music several times a week, shows and competitions.
