This charming and intimate hotel is tucked away in a little pedestrian alley way, next to a house where Theo and Vincent Van Gogh spent some of their lives. It is a real oasis of tranquillity, in the heart of Paris between the Opera and Montmartre, in a lively area full of restaurants and bars. The theme throughout the Villa Van Gogh Hotel Paris is the South of France and the hotel is full of lovely Provencal furniture. The reception is intimate and welcoming with a personalised service given to each guest and there are thoughtful touches throughout like the DVD library in reception that is free for guests to use on leaving a deposit. The bedrooms are compact (not unusual for Paris) but decorated with taste. A lovely little hotel for people who are looking for the 'real' Parisian experience.
