The Avra Beach Hotel is a family friendly hotel set in 18.000 square meters of blossom gardens, located on the beach in the resort of Ixia. Ixia is ideal for couples or family holidays with its small selection of bars that close around midnight, however its proximity to Rhodes Town means that all the amenities of a large town are only a short taxi ride away.

Location

Avra Beach Hotel is located on Ixia's sand and pebble beach overlooking the aegean sea, with the local shops, bars and restaurants of Ixia close by. The larger resort of Rhodes Town is just 6km away, whilst the airport is 7km away.

Activities

The large freshwater swimming pool is a focal point of the hotel, surrounded by a sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols, there is also the pool bar for snacks and refreshments. For kids there is a separate children swimming pool and mini club. Sports facilities at the Hotel include a tennis court, beach volleyball, table tennis, snooker and a gym.

All inclusive meals are served in the main dining room with locally produced wine, beer and soft drinks available from the pool bar and main bar. There is a mini market on site. There is also a big screen satelite TV in the lounge area as well as an internet corner. The Hotel also provide regular daytime activites and evening entertainment.
All rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished featuring private bathroom, telephone, satellite television, music channel, mini fridge, hairdryer, safety deposit facility and balcony or terrace.
