The Lambis Studios are in a quiet spot, spread over a hill in the Krana area of Lindos. The accommodation complex backs onto mountains, so you get a real sense of being out in the country.

When you want to pick up the pace, Lindos town centre is a 15-minute downhill walk away, and the beach at St Paul’s Bay is another 10 further on. The hilly landscape means it takes longer to get back, though, so you’re better off taking a taxi, which are cheap and easy to come by.

Outside, the apartments are framed by gardens planted with palms and cacti. Tucked in the middle is a large swimming pool, which comes with sunloungers and umbrellas along the edges. There’s also a thatched bar alongside it. The best part, though, is because everything is terraced into the hillside, great views over Lindos Acropolis come as standard.
