Guests will receive a check for any food & beverage consumption, which must be signed. Please note that all kind of orders cannot be taken away, otherwise guests will be charged. Offering food & beverage items to other guests is not permitted.

Food & Beverage

The Continental Sharm Hotel features a wide range of restaurants and bars to meet the most demanding tastes. The Olive Tree restaurant offers a choice of international themed buffets. The Los Amigos restaurant and fun pub oriental serves mouth-watering Mexican and South American specialities. Al Hamra restaurant and bar is a Casablanca-style piano bar, serving Lebanese cuisine.

Accommodation

Featuring breathtaking views, all rooms are tastefully nestled in the midst of lush, landscaped gardens, ensuring the ultimate in privacy and relaxation. Every room is comfortably equipped with air-conditioning, multiline telephone with speaker and voice messaging, internet connection, magnifying mirror, electronic locks, safe deposit box, minibar, satellite-TV, bathtube, hairdryer, and terrace or balcony. The twin room may accommodate up to three persons.

Meeting Facilities

Meeting and event facilities offer 1400 square metres of versatile function space, and the main hall has a capacity for up to 726 guests in a reception setting. The main meeting room is divisible into three smaller rooms.

Useful Information on Distances

The hotel is superbly located in the spectacular Garden Reef Bay, just in front of the famous Near, Middle and Far Garden diving sites, only minutes away from the international airport and the walking promenade of Naama Bay.

Entry Requirements

On entry into Egypt, guests must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry; the fee is £13 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, a visitor’s visa is required. It is recommended that guests should see the Medhotels rep on arrival, to assist them with obtaining the visa.

Refreshment centre, mini bar, room service, the Salamlek bar, the On the Rocks bar, water sports and any food & beverage consumption after 22:30 or after 12:00 on the departure day are available at a charge.

Built in Andalusian and Moorish architectural style, the resort offers spectacular views of the Red Sea and the renowned Sinai mountains, and is located one of the best diving and snorkelling areas in the world.

All Inclusive Food & Drink

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style, served in the Olive Tree restaurant. During meals soft drinks, spirits, juices and hot drinks are offered plus bottled water and wine & beer by the glass during lunch & dinner only. Also at the disposal of the AI guests once per stay and with prior reservation are two specialty restaurants; Food Court (with live cooking), El Hamra Lebanese Moroccan (set menu, 19:30-22:30). Snacks such as Danish, croissants, cakes, sweets along with juices, coffee, tea, mineral water, wine by the glass and beer are available between 11:00 & 12:30 at the Horizon pool bar as well as tea & coffee time with cakes and sweets from 15:30-18:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like canned juices, soft drinks, mineral water, wine by the glass, beer, spirits, etc (most by the glass) are served from 10:30-22:30 at the Horizon pool bar, the Laguna bar, the Satellite beach bar and the Los Amigos Pub - according to each outlet’s opening hours & menu.
