The Hotel Bitacora is situated in an enviable position in Playa de las Americas only 350 meters from the wonderful Playa De Las Vistas beach. Conveniently located, the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping centers, bar and restaurants of the resort. With its flower lined balconies and subtropical gardens the Hotel Bitacora offers a pleasant atmosphere and excellent on site facilities with entertainment ideally suited for adults and children alike.

Accommodation

The Hotel has 314 rooms which include a full bathroom, hairdryer, balcony, air conditioning, telephone, minibar, Sat TV, safety box (payable locally). Why not treat yourself to an upgrade to a pool view room, which includes free safety box, welcome present on arrival and free use of bathrobes and pool towels (in standard room pool towels are payable locally).

The resort center is 500m away, while the beach is 350m away. Tenerife South airport is 17 km away while the Tenerife North Airport is 88 kms.

Sports & Leisure

The hotel has two spectacular outdoor swimming pools, one is heated in winter, and the other one has a children section and waterslide. There is a varied daytime activity programme for adults and children, whilst the evenings are taken up with International shows and live music. Children will love the mini club and children’s playground Nenelandia with two different play areas with ball pit, one for children from 2-4 years, and one for children 5-12 years, while the adults can enjoy the slightly more sedate activities including French bowls, table tennis, darts, archery, billiards, etc. The hotel has a game room with billiards, air hockey and pinball (payable locally).The hotel also has Tennis court (payable locally) while Squash court are available at sister Hotel Vulcano across the street (payable locally). The famous 18 hole Golf course Las Americas is only 1 Km away.

Food & Beverages

Hotel Bitacora has a very pleasant main restaurant with buffet service, offering a wide range of cuisine including international and vegetarian dishes, as well as a selection of fresh dishes from the show-cooking chefs! Please note a dress code applies in the restaurant. Once a week the hotel also offers a theme dinner. For refreshments choose from one of the three bars including a poolside bar serving snacks with a regular Happy hour ( 6 to 7pm) in the bar hall. Room service available from 7.30 till midnight.
