Set on the coast of Costa Adeje, this hotel makes a grand first impression. The huge cruise liner-shaped building cuts a fine figure against a background of the Adeje Mountains and the foreground of the Atlantic Ocean. And, in the lobby, shiny walnut-style floors and wrought-iron chandeliers set the tone. The bedrooms, meanwhile, are really spacious, and come with quality wooden furniture, like you’d have at home.

Outside, there are two large pools to choose from. They’re both surrounded by sunloungers and parasols, so there are plenty of spots for sunbathing. When you want a change of scene, the hotel’s sculpted gardens are great for wandering through.

It stretches out for three miles, and a walk along it provides a great introduction to the Costa Adeje. You’re also a five-minute taxi ride from the fishing village of La Caleta, where you’ll find plenty of bars and restaurants.
